Smile-A-Day Poster Contest Schools Project There are so many talented young artists about, but I rarely see their work on the Web. Through Smile-A-Day (http://www.smile-a-day.com) I'm setting up a Schools Project for teachers. This is how it works: The school (or class) run a poster contest. The theme is "Smile A Day". The format is A4 or smaller (as I'll have to scan the entries for displaying on the Web). It can be a happy smiling face, a funny theme, joke, cartoon or any idea the budding artist thinks fits in with the subject of "Smile A Day". The school then choose the best entries, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and any 'highly commended', and posts them off to me here in Thailand. I'd like to see a little background on the artists, such as name and age, plus details of the school or class. The teacher might like to include a photo of the participants in some fun situation, or a picture of the school. I will then put together a page for each set of entries. It should make a wonderful feature, full of color and joy. Perhaps, if you like the idea, you might like to pass this on. There is a feedback form to be found at: http://www.smile-a-day.com/teachers.htm together with a copy of this letter in Word .doc and Text .txt format. Entries should be posted to: Smiley Fan Club Poster Contest Schools Entry GPO Box No 1 Hat Yai Thailand 90110 All the best to you all, Andrew Webmaster@escati.com http://www.escati.com http://www.smile-a-day.com
